RUMOR: Is Clint Barton Done as an Avenger?
Two Avengers movies are already on the ballot for the Phase Six slate. However, with so many of the original six gone, a rumor suggests that Clint Barton may be done as an Avenger.
In 2012, Marvel first introduced the original six Avengers. They were a team of Marvel heroes from all corners of the universe, and all eras of time.
Bonded by their desire to protect the world from the impending forces of Loki. This group would eventually lead the charge against the Mad Titan himself, Thanos.

That team became an iconic collective. Developing into one of the most successful film franchises in the history of the industry.
Moreover, becoming a beacon of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a decade.
With Avengers: Endgame came the absence of so many of those characters. And with more Avengers films already on the ledger for Phase Six, it is fair to ask if they are set to be a part of the team.

A new rumor suggests that one name still present in the MCU, Clint Barton, could be done as an Avenger.
Avengers 5 and 6 are still a ways away. And it would be unfortunate for Jeremy Renner to not return to the iconic team that he was so important to.
Concurrently, it would make sense to see Clint finally be able to retire.

Since Avengers: Age of Ultron, Barton has been looking for a reason to put away the bow and arrow. He should find that reason and put down he fight once and for all.
