Disney Confirms the MCU Will Have 16 Releases Through 2026
There are few enterprises in film as big as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s only set to get bigger, however, as Disney has confirmed the MCU Will have 16 releases through 2026.
When the endeavor first began, it was hard to imagine that Marvel Studios would become what they are.
Even Kevin Feige couldn’t have imagined they’d be the most successful film franchise on the planet.
There is certainly an argument that the MCU has surpassed all others. Not just in their success, but in the sheer size and scope of it all.
But what has been, may only just be the beginning.
The Marvel Universe has shown no signs of slowing down and has only grown over its decade of operations.
Ultimately, that will likely be a trend, as Disney has seemingly confirmed that the MCU will have 16 releases through the year 2026.
Those titles all start with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. With the 30th MCU film that is set to arrive in theaters in less than a month.
That iconic title will then be followed up by Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. With that film seeing the ascendence of Kang the Conqueror.
In addition, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Concurrently showcases what will likely be the end of the cosmic Marvel team as we know them.
Furthermore, The Marvels will debut. Set to showcase Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau all partners to take on a cosmic threat.
Importantly, Captain America: New World Order comes after. Delivering the theatrical debut of Sam Wilsons Captain America I cannot wait for.
Subsequently, Thunderbolts and Blade are scheduled to follow Wilson’s entry. The highly-anticipated Deadpool 3 standing currently as the final Phase Five film. With the Fantastic Four kicking off Phase Six.
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, three untitled Marvel films, and Avengers: Secret Wars all conclude Phase Six. With two Phase Seven films reportedly already scheduled by Marvel Studios to arrive in 2026.
