Marvel Announces Giant Marvel Legends Sentinel Figure
Marvel has partnered with Hasbro to create the largest Marvel Legends Sentinel figure ever made! The massive 26.3-inch figure is available to pre-order for $349.99 on the Hasbro Pulse Web site.

Who are Sentinels?
Sentinels appear in everything from Marvel comics and cartoons to movies and video games. They are a well-known enemy of the X-Men.
The giant purple creatures first appeared in X-Men #14 in 1965; Stan Lee and Jack Kirby were the creative team behind the issue. Programmed to hunt mutants, Sentinels are three stories tall with the capability to fly.
In 2006, Sentinels made their way into movies with an appearance in X-Men: The Last Stand.

The First of Its Kind
This figure marks the first Marvel Legends HasLab Project and is the largest Sentinel figure to ever be produced. While action figures depicting the behemoths have been manufactured, the largest has been 17-inches tall.
Hasbro’s HasLabs is a platform for crowdfunding fans’ “dream projects.” It is similar to Kickstarter, but is specific to Hasbro collectibles.
Previously, HasLab sponsored production of a vintage Star Wars Jabba’s Sail Barge playset. It also crowdfunded a huge Unicron action figure for its Transformers: War for Cybetron line.
How to Get Your Sentinel
Fans are encouraged to pre-order the figure via the HasLab Web site. It includes all of the features and details from the Marvel Legends 6-inch line. Some of its features are:
- 26.3-inch (669 mm) Sentinel figure
- LEDs in the head and chest (2x AAA batteries required, not included)
- 18-inch Sentinel “tentacle” accessory
- Marvel Legends 6-inch Bastion figure with 6-Inch alternate Sentinel Prime head
- Marvel Insider Points Redemption code (70,000 points per purchase, limit 2 code redemptions per account) & X-Men #14 (1963) digital comic to read in the Marvel Comics app (available in iOS and Android). Open to US residents 18+. Terms apply.

Perhaps the most impressive thing is that each Sentinel contains a ground-breaking seventy-two points of articulation. Even more surprising is the fact that the figure has twenty points of articulation in each hand! The “tentacle” accessory will attach to its palm and can wrap around any 6-inch figure. Each Sentinel will ship with a Master Mold alternate head, battle-damaged head and hand, and a 6-inch Female Prime Sentinel Figure.
The crowdfund project went “live” on July 10, 2020 and has already been fully funded. The Marvel Legends Sentinel will be available for pre-order until 11:59 pm ET on August 24, 2020. The project will move into production and begin shipping in Fall 2021.
