Spider-Man 3 Release Date Pushed Back
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the production of many movies. Late this week, Marvel Studios announced the Spider-Man 3 release date has been pushed back to December 17, 2021. The film was previously set to release on November 5, 2021.
Of note, Spider-Man 3’s previous release date belonged to Avatar 2, which has now been moved to 2022.
How will Peter Parker Recover?
Fans are waiting with bated breath to view the next chapter in Peter Parker’s saga. As many will recall, at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Jonah Jameson released footage accusing him of murdering Mysterio, and then announced Spider-Man’s true identity.
Several insiders close to the film have said this plot twist will allow Parker to come into his own. He will stake his claim as a true super hero without guidance from the Avengers.
We do know that Jonah Jameson (J. K. Simmons) and MJ (Zendaya) are both anticipated to appear in the film.
Which Villains Can We Expect to See?
It is yet to be revealed which villain or villains Spidey will face in the new film. That being said, rumors are already flying about appearances by Venom, Firestar, Morbius, Kraven the Hunter, Black Cat, and the Sinister Six (lead by Michael Keaton’s Vulture).
Tom Holland has stated that he intends to finish filming Spider-Man 3 in February 2021.
Although the Spider-Man 3 release date has been delayed, fans will certainly await what’s in store for Peter Parker with much excitement and anticipation.
