ONLINE OPP: Help Defeat the Ten Rings with Xbox
In an article posted to the official Marvel Entertainment website on Friday, September 10th, 2021, a special virtual reality (VR) experience was revealed for Xbox! Sponsored by Microsoft, the company that is celebrating Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings with a special limited edition Ten Rings console.

In order to celebrate the special edition console, a special VR event is taking place. It seems that members of the notorious Ten Rings have infiltrated Xbox. Fortunately, fans around the world can help free the gaming console from the clutches of the Ten Rings thanks to a virtual activity that you can take part in just by scanning a QR code!

Once you have accessed the activity via the QR code, you’ll get the chance to place the titular Ten Rings, and then race against the clock to gather all ten of them!

This app will need access to your cell phone telephone’s camera in order to operate, since it sends the rings flying around the space you’re standing in for a completely immersive Marvel Cinematic Universe experience!
Shang-Chi Xbox
The QR code is only part of the way that Xbox is celebrating the recent theatrical release of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (along with the latest MCU star’s love of video gaming).

There’s also a special edition Shang-Chi version of the console featuring the woven design from the film’s promotional material. According to Marvel, the “custom kit includes an Xbox Series X console, a custom Xbox Wireless Controller, a Hasbro Shang-Chi action figure, and a 12-month Xbox Game Pass card, all of which are encased in special-themed packaging inspired by the history-making movie.”
