Well, Marvel Blog True Believers, unless you’ve been living under a rock on Mars, you can’t have missed the deluge of Marvelous Halloween costumes on social media the past couple of days!

In order to celebrate Halloween 2021, many Marvel creators, actors, and fans dressed up as their favorite characters — some from the merry Marvel multiverse, and some from even beyond those multitudinous locales! Here are seven Marvelous Halloween costumes

…Boy, those guys will follow just ANY directions, won’t they? Well, that’s good news for this pair of variants! Robert Irwin posed as the Tom Hiddleston “TVA Variant” of Loki, God of Mischief, along with a li’l Alligator Loki Variant played by a very special trick or treater: a real live alligator!
This is definitely not a group cosplay to try at home, but as the son of legendary crocodile hunter Steve Irwin, Robert knows how to handle the little green variant this Halloween.

Sure, we all know Steve Orlando is the writer behind the ongoing Darkhold crossover series that has stolen our Marvel Comics-reading hearts. But What If… Orlando really broke the fourth wall, and met the character he was writing?
Well, as the official Watcher of Marvel Blog, it is my duty to inform you that these events have indeed come to pass! At a Marvelous Halloween event over the weekend, Orlando ran into the Scarlet Witch herself while enjoying some time at a local watering hole.

The creator behind the incredible Reptil series didn’t miss out on a chance to bring his very best to his portrayal of Guillermo de la Cruz, the gay Vampire Slayer/Bodyguard who brings a human element to the cast of What We Do in the Shadows on FX.

As if you needed further confirmation that this Halloween costume is about as legit as you can get without being personally descended from Van Helsing yourself, the outfit was retweeted by none other than the actor who plays Guillermo himself, Harvey Guillen. I guess he must get pretty good cell phone reception from inside that boat-borne coffin, Marvel Blog True Believers!

Congresswoman Cori Bush from Missouri’s 1st District (The Fighting First!) dressed up in the distinctive white outfit we saw Natasha Romanoff don in the movie (and on the posters for) Black Widow, which came out earlier this year.
Alongside Congresswoman Black Widow is a very scary co-costume this Halloween: Pennywise the Dancing Clown! This monstrous entity from Stephen King’s It. Pennywise first appeared in the 1986 horror novel, but has enjoyed renewed interest thanks to his appearance in the 2017 and 2019 two-part adaptation of the novel, in which Bill Skarsgärd portrayed him.

Actor Julian Hilliard, who played Billy Maximoff in everyone’s favorite Disney+ series, WandaVision, took to Twitter to share several Marvelous costumes from Halloween in years past!
Honestly, no one should be surprised by this development: we’ve already seen Hillard adopting the distinctive moves of certain other Marvel characters! Could this be hinting at some unique, power-shifting abilities for the MCU’s version of Wiccan? Well, probably not, but one thing’s for sure: Hillard could clearly play most of the Marvel universe!

MARVEL BLOG’S FINEST head INTO THE HALLOWEEN SPIDER-VERSE (feat. STEPHEN STRANGE)
Finally, we have some very special costumes directly from OUR family! Marvel Blog’s own Bridget Edwards found herself heading into the Spider-Verse when her sons, husband, and their friendly neighborhood Spider-friends went as a cadre of Peter Parkers and the Sorcerer Supreme himself, Doctor Stephen Strange!
