It appears as though Marvel and Sony’s latest Spider-Man story is in no mood to let up as Spider-Man: No Way Home just broke a huge Rotten Tomatoes record.
The latest installment of the MCU’s Peter Parker saga has boasted a plethora of record-breaking feats since its release date earlier this December.

With the second biggest box office opening of all time, over $587 million made at the global box office, and a pace that should see the film join the $1 billion club today; Spider-Man: No Way Home has proven to be one of the successful films in MArvels history, and Sony’s most successful picture ever.
With a Tomatometer score that places it among the elite MCU films, it appears as though Spider-Man: No Way Home just broke a huge Rotten Tomatoes record.

According to the official Rotten Tomatoes Twitter account, Spider-Man: No Way Home now boasts the highest audience score ever recorded on the site.
With well over 20,000 verified audience reviews, Spider-Man: No Way Home is now the first film to maintain a 99% audience score.

What the score means is that, of audience members that went to see the film, 99% gave it a fresh rating; meaning that they ranked the film at least a 6 out of 10.
The record is not necessarily surprising, with Spider-Man: No Way Home easily staking a claim as one of the most theorized and speculated upon films ever created.

What Marvel and Sony did with that abundance of speculation and hype was create a film that did the unthinkable; it actually exceeded expectations.
With the return of some of the character’s most iconic villains from past live-action adaptations of the character, Spider-Man: No Way Home stands alone as perhaps the greatest on-screen Peter Parker stories ever told.
