Marvel Debuts Trailer for ‘Marvel Voices: Legacy #1’
One of the coolest announcements to come from Marvel comics has come in the first look into what should be a memorable series as Marvel debuts a trailer for the upcoming Marvel Voices: Legacy #1.
Here at MarvelBlog, we’ve made an effort to highlight some of the most iconic and inspiring Black Marvel characters to help celebrate Black History Month and honor the diversity that has been present in the publication for years.
Everyone from the incredible Blue Marvel to the astounding Sam Wilson, and the incredibly cool War Machine, there is no shortage of fantastic, well-developed, and incredible Black characters that are firmly rooted in the foundation of what Marvel comics are.
Marvel has just announced their own desire to celebrate that same diversity, and even more than just celebrate, to actively build upon these incredible characters with the newly announced Marvel Voices: Legacy #1!
The Marvel Voices series will highlight some of these beloved Marvel characters of color, and bring them to life on a page written and crafted by a black artist that represents some of the most talented individuals in the industry.
The characters included Blue Marvel, Sam Wilson’s Captain America, Storm, Moon Girl, and her beloved partner in heroism Devil Dinosaur, the iconic duo of Misty Knight and Luke Cage, Shuri, and many more!
This brand new Marvel series will stand as a unique and vital endeavor that will bring the focus of an entire series on some of these iconic characters of color, and have them be celebrated and explored by black voices that are truly equipped to do these unique stories justice.
What better time to engage readers in these fantastic stories than Black History Month; with the entire comic book world taking this time to celebrate and champion black voices, and the characters that have become the conduits of expression for those voices, we are so excited to engage with the fruit of that.
