Marvel Announces IMAX Enhanced Version of ‘Black Panther’ on Disney+ Today!
To celebrate Black History Month, Marvel has recently announced the IMAX Enhanced version of Black Panther arriving on Disney+ today!
There are few MCU films that can boast the level of cultural relativity, or critical acclaim, that can be afforded to the 2018 instant classic that was the Oscar-Nominated Black Panther.

The Ryan Coogler-helmed project told the story of T’Challa, one of the greatest Marvel creations, in his journey to accept his appointment as King and defender of Wakanda as the next in line, and the inherited of the great Black Panther mantle.
There is perhaps not a greater black character to ever be featured in the history of the comic book medium, and perhaps not a greater representation of what it means to celebrate the beauty of culture and ancestry than in the 2018 Marvel classic.

In honor of Black History Month, Marvel has given fans a special treat, as they announced the debut of the IMAX Enhanced version of Black Panther, available to stream today.
In a Tweet released by the official @theblackpanther account, it was announced with a caption that read, “Watch Marvel Studios’ #BlackPanther again with @IMAX’s expanded aspect ratio on @DisneyPlus within the Celebrate Black Stories Collection! #IMAXonDisneyPlus”

A brand new IMAX version of the film presents an opportunity for Marvel fans to receive a brand new Black Panther experience; with the expanded aspect ratio- allowing more content to be consumed within any given frame of the film- acting as a signature quality reserved for IMAX titles.
This is yet another opportunity for Marvel to celebrate their commitment to diversity, and their celebration of black storytelling, in accordance with Black History Month; as the Celebrate Black Stories Collection on Disney+ is a one-stop hub for fantastic titles that explore brilliant black creators and characters.
