The studio took to Instagram, noting the film had been the biggest in the world for two consecutive weeks; something that has only proven to boost its impact on the years box office performers.
The film has already recorded an astronomical half a billion at the worldwide box office, reaching nearly $700 million in the international market that had proven to be difficult for the MCU in recent history.
Forbes has reportedly projected the film to add an additional $300 million domestically this week, as only time will tell when Doctor Strange 2 will surrender its top place billing at the box office.
