Brand New ‘Ms. Marvel’ Teaser Previews Anticipated MCU Debut
With the series premiere episode arriving at an immensely positive reception, and an incredibly rare, near-perfect, Rotten Tomatoes rating, its second installment is just a few days away; with a brand new Ms. Marvle teaser previewing an anticipated MCU debut.
The long-awaited live-action debut of beloved Marvel hero Kamala Khan is finally upon us, and it is everything that so many of us hoped it would be.
It is a series that is brimming with creativity and vibrance, telling the incredible unique- but also relatable- story of a young hero torn between the destiny that is calling her, and the one called by those around her.
Iman Vellani shines in the title role, and her ability to balance the quirkiness and uncertainty of the character with her obvious charm and drive is done to brilliant effect; truly bringing to life the Kamala Khan that so many of us have read about.
With the second episode fastly approaching, Marvel has released a brand new Ms. Marvel teaser that previews an anticipated MCU debut; and an arrival that should change everything for the young hero.
The teaser is titled Seek, and shows off a lot of clips that fans can expect in later episodes of the series, with an emphasis on things that are coming sooner rather than later; among those is the appearance of Red Dagger, a hero that was shown in small moments throughout the films promotional campaign.
In the comic canon, Red Dagger is a vigilante named Kareem that hides behind a small red bandana, attending the same high school as Kamala, while also having connections to the young hero through their family in Pakistan.
G. Willow Wilson created the character that made his Marvel comics debut in Ms. Marvel #12 in 2016 when Kamala encounter the young hero when she visits her family in their native country.
There is no telling if the MCU adaptation of the character will follow the same plot points, but it is a safe bet, considering much of the trailer seems to take place in a foreign country that could be Pakistan.
