A Wish List for Marvel’s Panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2022
It will be the first time Marvel Studios has been to the legendary Hall H since 2019 in what is maybe the most exciting appearance in the history of the lauded event; which leads us together on our wish list for Marvel’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2022.
X-Men ’97
It was an announcement that made us tremendously excited, as Marvel Studios committed to bringing back one of the most iconic Marvel series of the 1990s.
The animated X-Men series is reportedly set to pick up where the original left off, and we hope that this panel brings some images or even a trailer, to wet our pallets for the eventual arrival in the coming year.
Spider-Man: Freshman Year
It is one of the most interesting Spider-Man stories never told, as this is yet another animated project announced by Marvel studios the last Disney+ Day, with little else shared about what fans can expect,
With Marvel announcing an entirely separate panel for its animation division, we are most excited to see any updates on these two projects.
Fantastic Four
There is maybe nothing more exciting to= fans than what the MCU is planning with the impending arrival of Marvel’s first family.
Doctor Strange 2 boasted an alternate reality Reed Richards, but it is seeming more likely by the day that the main MCU universe is primed to deliver a very different Fantastic Four, and we hope that either the cast or a director, could be announced.
Blade
It was the final announcement of the MCU’s last appearance at Comic-Con and has firmly been under warps since, outside of a small cameo in the post-credit scene of Eternals.
We’re hopeful that this will be Marvel’s opportunity to announce a release date, or even the nature of the project, as it primes the next slate of its Phase 5 schedule.
Nova Announcement
It has been heavily rumored, and it feels like it’s due to Marvel’s commitment to announcing the project by this year’s Comic-Con event, and it would be the perfect place for Kevin Feige to unveil its arrival.
Nova is a character that would be tremendously interesting in the current MCU, and we have hopes that this announcement could proceed with an appearance by the character in The Marvels.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Trailer
It has been something that fans have been hoping for, and with promotional material already showing up in theaters, it feels as though we’re getting closer to a trailer.
On the flip side, Thor: Love and Thunder sported one of the shortest promotional campaigns for the studio, so it isn’t out of the realm of possibility that this could be a new normal for the MCU
Secret Wars
If this announcement does happen, we wouldn’t be surprised, but we also wouldn’t expect much to be given outside of an acknowledgment of its development.
It is a film that fans have been expecting and could be the next huge event for the studio, but there is also the possibility that Marvel fears a commitment to the film with so little progress made on its development.
X-Men Movie
We end our Wish list for Marvel’s panel of San Diego Comic-Con 2022 with the announcement that is sure to make the MCU fanbase collectively lose their minds.
Since the Fox acquisition, it has been the project fans have wanted the most, and we can only hope that some kind of timetable is established for the upcoming Marvel team to make their long-awaited MCU debut.
That is our wish list for Marvel’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, what are you hoping for? Let us know!
