‘Ms. Marvel’ Directors Reveal The Only Person Who Knows Whats in Store for Mutants in the MCU…
With the reveal that took place in the final moments of the finale episode of the MCU’s newest series, fans have been clamoring for answers as to what this could mean; as the Ms. Marvel directors reveal the only person who knows what’s in store for mutants in the MCU.
There was a collective gasp by fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe when it was revealed that Kamala Khan’s connection to the Noor, and her powers, were less to do with the Clandestine and her lineage, and more to do with a mutation in her very DNA.
It was a revelation that truly impacts the Marvel Universe in a way that truly cannot be understated, as it is the first time since the Fox acquisition that the MCU has taken a significant step toward introducing the mutated race of characters to the live-action universe.
With fans clamoring for answers as to what this means for the overarching development of Phase five and beyond, Ms. Marvel directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah reveal the only person who knows what’s in store for mutants in the MCU.
In an interview with TV Line, El Arbi stated, “[The ‘Mutation’ reveal] was the best-kept secret of the whole show. We didn’t even know about it until we suddenly had a script. So, when we had it, we asked, ‘What’s that about? What going on?'”
El Arbi added. “And Kevin Feige would say, ‘Just shoot this, put the little music on and that’s that. Should you be part of the future of Ms. Marvel, then you’ll know a little bit more.'”
Bilall Fallah then noted, “Kevin Feige has the master plan. He’s the only one who knows.”
It isn’t necessarily surprising that the structuring of the arrival of mutants in the Marvel Universe is currently controlled by the architect of the entire universe; and we cannot wait to see what Fiege, and those eventually involved, have in store for the characters.
