Marvel Unveils Brand New Attraction for Avengers Campus
The biggest Marvel experience on the planet is getting a little bit bigger, as Marvel has unveiled a brand new attraction for its Avengers Campus expansion.
Fans were tremendously excited for the long-awaited D23 convention that would see some of the biggest brands under the Disney umbrella take the stage and share with fans what is on the ledger for the coming years.
With a lot of uncertainty surrounding what Marvel would bring to the event, there was certainly a lot of information shared as to what the company is developing for the near future.
Not only did Marvel detail what was to come in the world of video games, streaming services, and films, but they delved deep into addition to the massive Deinsyeland area dedicated to all things Marvel.
On the final day of the D23 event, Marvel president Kevin Feige took the stage alongside Disney Parks CEO Josh D’Amaro, as the two unveiled a brand new attraction for AVengers Campus
We had heard earlier this weekend that there was an Avengers Campus expansion in place, but this final panel gave us more details than anyone expected.
It seems as though the Multiverse Era of Marvel won’t be limited to what they explore on the big screen, as Avengers Campus will be entering the Multiverse with the construction of a brand new attraction that brings together a whole host of some of our favorite Marvel heroes.
Feige was clear, this is an attraction that will allow the guests to fight alongside a massive collection of Marvel heroes- some that we know, and some that we don’t- as they defend this reality from a brand new multiversal threat.
That threat was announced as King Thanos, a villainous variant of the character who was defeated by the Avengers at the conclusion of Avengers: Endgame.
Feige ominously described this much older version of the villain as, “A Thanos who won…” which soul foreshadows the incredible storyline that this ride will present to us.
