Upcoming ‘Spider-Man #1’ Promises to End the Spider-Verse
A corner of the Marvel universe that has been growing exponentially over the last couple of years, and with Dan Slott and Mark Bagley returning to the character, the upcoming Spider-Man #1 promises one thing; to end the Spider-Verse.
It is an opinion that we will always champion and one that has very little room for argument; that Spider-Man is one of the greatest things to ever happen to the comic book medium.

The iconic Marvel creation is not just one of the greatest heroes to ever grace a page, he is one of the landmark creations that truly proved the worth of the industry.
Peter Parker has always been a hero that has connected with fans of Comics on a very unique level, and it is a connection that may not exist with any other hero in its scale or intensity.

And with the adoration of the hero and the expansion of his lore over the six decades of his presence in the comic book world, Marvel worked at expanding the mythos of the character by introducing the Spider-Verse.
It has only grown since its inception and has been one of the most popular and populated corners of the Marvel Universe to ever be crafted, but it seems to be on its last legs if Dan Slott has anything to say about it.
With the upcoming series incoming, Spider-Man #1 makes no promises but one; to end the Spider-Verse.

Speaking to Marvel about the upcoming issue, Slott stated, “Mark Bagley and I are ending the Spider-Verse! We’re destroying it, completely and utterly! We’re taking this thing for all dearly love and is a huge cash cow for Marvel and we’re just pouring gasoline on it, setting it on fire, and running away cackling.”
Slott continued, “We’re having fun! The end of the Spider-Verse will see Peter, Miles, and your favorite characters from previous Spider-Verse stories, along with all-new characters from the upcoming Spider-Verse saga to a firey close!”

Slott concluded, “It’s going to have lots of action, surprises, but, most of all, it’s going to have a lot of heart! Even though this story will be epic, it will also have a profound effect on Peter Parker. You are not going to want to miss this!”
