‘She/Hulk’ Episode 8 Featured Iconic Daredevil Easter Eggs
One of the most anticipated arrivals of the MCU’s newest series is here, and She/Hulk episode 8 featured some iconic Daredevil easter eggs.
Since the very first trailer for She/Hulk was revealed, fans had noticed a small teaser for the return of MCU favorite Matt Murdock.
It was an arrival that had been foreshadowed throughout Phase Four and would provide the first chance for MCU fans to interact with Daredevil for any extended period of time following his Netflix series.
The character certainly arrived in one of hte better MCU projects also, with She/Hulk firmly standing as one of the most entertaining Marvel Disney+ series ever.
His arrival, however, was a fitting homage to the character’s initial Marvel debut, as She/Hulk episode 8 featured some iconic Daredevil easter eggs.
The entry saw Matt Murdock defend his client, Luke Jacobson, against Jennifer Walters in court, which preceded the two working together as Daredevil and She/Hulk when Walter’s client kidnaps Jacobson.
There are two subsequent moments that are homages to the character’s Netflix series, the first being when Murdock tells Walters who he is, stating that he is Daredevil, which follows by a snippet of the Netflix series’ original opening playing.
The opening theme song had become an incoming part of the series, and hearing a few of its notes played seemed to wonderfully signify that the character was bringing with him his past endeavors in that project.
The second moment was an homage to one of the most memorable scenes in the original series, with Daredevil attacking a flock of goons in a hallway, a callback to the beloved hallway fight of the Netflix show’s first season.
The scene was a one-take sequence in which Daredevil takes down an entire building full of bad guys in one hallway, and this moment was a fantastic call back to that moment that made the show so memorable.
