She/Hulk Director Kat Coiro Addresses Potential Hulk Family Film
There is no denying that Hulk’s family has become the focal point of the MCU, and with the future uncertain for the group at the moment, She/Hulk director Kat Coiro has addressed a potential Hulk family movie following the vents of Marvel’s newest series.
Marvel’s newest hero is officially here, and following the success of the character’s first Disney+ season, it is certainly nearly confirmed that she is here to stay.
She-Hulk has long been one of the most beloved Marvel heroes, and her live-action adaptation certainly did that character justice as Jennifer Walters has been every bit the brilliant character that made her so popular throughout her comic book existence.
Tatiana Maslany has done magnificently well in bringing Walters to life, and with every passing episode only proved time and time again that she was just perfect for the role, but that she was an invaluable part of the Marvel Universe moving forward.
It wasn’t just Maslany, however, as the entire creative team was fantastic in bringing this hero to life, specifically the director, who did incredible work in balancing the continuity of a film like this, with its self-aware comedic nature
With the Hulk family certainly ending the series front and center, and in a recent interview with ComicBook.com, She/HUlk director Kat Coiro addressed a potential Hulk Family movie, and if she would be up for directing it.
Coiro stated, “100%. I mean, I said this in the beginning and I still stand by his- one of my favorite things about the whole series is the chemistry between Tatiana and Mark, and their kind of sibling big brother/ little sister dynamic. And I think bringing that to the big screen would be a no-brainer.”
With the introduction of Skaar, there certainly are a lot of stories there to be told, and we can only hope that we get the chance to observe just where it goes following Jennifer Walter’s MCU introduction.
