The Best Choice to Direct the MCU’s Blade is an Obvious One
He is set to be one of the biggest introductions of the MCU’s Phase Five, and despite tumultuous production and the best choice to direct the MCU’s blade is an obvious choice.
Throughout the massive pantheon of Marvel heroes, there is little argument that one hero stands above them all as one of the greatest supernatural entities throughout the publication; Blade.
The Daywalker is the great meeting point between the vampiric entities that have been a staple of the horror genre and the Marvel heroes that have been so incredibly important to the comic book industry.
Blade is a stand out of Marvel’s supernatural realm, and with the announcement that Majershala Ali will bring the character to life in the MCU, he has been primed to kick off their presence in the live-action film universe.
It hasn’t been the easiest road, however, as the production has been doomed by a poor script, the lack of a director and so much uncertainty as to how that actual phase Five film slate will play out.
And with so many wondering who will helm the installment, the choice to direct the MCU’s Blade is an obvious one, following the incredible work of Werewolf by Night.
That’s right, the clearest choice to direct Blade is Michael Giacchino; the magnificently creative mind that had brought the first horror MCU special to life.
Giacchino did a wonderful job starting to flesh out the Supernatural realm Blade will be crucial too, and he is the man to bring these characters to life in the upcoming Blade film.
