New Iron Man VR Game Launches Tomorrow!

Tomorrow marks the much-anticipated release date for PlayStation VR’s hottest new game. Iron Man VR is an fully interactive experience starring Marvel’s snarkiest hero. Players are encouraged to “suit up” and embark on an original adventure as the one and only Iron Man.

The Premise

In the game, Tony Stark stops making weapons in favor of designing technology to battle evil as Iron Man. He is attacked by Ghost, who repurposes old Stark Industries weapons, among other wicked plots, in an attempt to overtake his empire. An epic battle follows.

Iron Man VR Offers a New Gaming Experience

In a PlayStation blog post, Ryan Payton, director at developer Camouflaj, shared his excitement surrounding the release of Iron Man VR.  He says:

“I personally believe this game is an important statement about virtual reality. VR is technology that’s been around for decades, yet only now is something that lives in the homes of not only millions of people around the globe, but in the living rooms of millions of PlayStation 4 users. We built this game for you all — a PS VR-exclusive game where nearly every major aspect of the game was designed to best utilize the PlayStation VR headset and PlayStation Move motion controllers. I truly hope you find Marvel’s Iron Man VR to be the kind of big, ambitious, VR-only game you’ve been wanting.”

Purchase Options

Consumers may choose from a standard edition of the game, a digital deluxe version, or the full bundle (pictured below). A PlayStation VR Headset and PlayStation Move Motion Controllers are required for play.
