Jaimie Alexander to Return as Lady Sif in Thor 4
The actor Jaimie Alexander will return after missing out on the action in Thor: Ragnarok.
After sitting out Thor: Ragnarok in 2017, Alexander is reprising the role of Lady Sif in the upcoming fourth entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Thor series, Thor: Love and Thunder. The fan-favorite character was sorely missed in Thor: Ragnarok, and there’s already plenty of speculation about what role Lady Sif may play in the upcoming sequel!

Jaimie Alexander Returns to Lady Sif
The news about Alexander returning to the role comes from a report on Deadline, citing an anonymous source. And it notes that Marvel Studios had no comment – meaning the casting still isn’t 100% official.

However, the Deadline article also notes that other rumors – which MarvelBlog fully reported on here – have suggested that Jaimie Alexander may appear on the small screen, thanks to the upcoming Disney+ series Loki.

Lady Sif in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Jaimie Alexander has appeared in other television projects produced by Marvel Studios in the past. In fact, she has previously portrayed Lady Sif in two separate episodes of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which recently completed its seventh and final season on ABC.

Jaimie Alexander appeared in the fifteenth episode of the first season, “Yes Men,” and then returned in the twelfth episode of the second season, “Who You Really Are.” And Alexander has other television experience as well, having starred in the popular NBC thriller drama Blindspot, which ran for five seasons.
Coming Soon Thor: Love and Thunder
Like Thor: Ragnarok, Thor: Love and Thunder will be written and directed by Taika Waititi. The story will see Jane Foster (played by Natalie Portman) lifting Mjolnir and taking on Thor’s mantle for herself. The story is an adaptation of one of the most popular Thor comic arcs in recent memory.

Tessa Thompson will be reprising the role of Valkyrie, who was introduced in Thor: Ragnarok and has made several comic and screen appearances since then.
