Marvel Studios: Legends to Premiere Before WandaVision
In a surprise announcement, Disney+ has scheduled the premier date of Marvel Studios: Legends for January 8, 2021. This will air prior to the premiere of WandaVision, now scheduled for January 15.
Disney+ will kick off the brand new Phase Four series by dropping its first two episodes. Marvel Studios: Legends intends to revisit iconic moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), specifically exploring its more compelling characters.
An In-Depth Look at MCU Characters
Marvel Studios: Legends will dive deeper into the stories of several Marvel characters. This includes heroes and villains, as well as epic moments that have occurred across the MCU. The goal of the series is to prepare fans for the exciting stories that are yet to come.
Each episode will relate directly to upcoming series on Disney+ and help put together the many pieces that make up the mosaic of the MCU.

Wanda & Vision Kick off the Series
The first episode of Marvel Studios: Legends will explore the interconnected path of Wanda Maximoff and Vision. This was clearly done to help prepare fans for the highly anticipated launch of WandaVision.
Making her debut in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Wanda Maximoff started off as an enemy of the Avengers. Over time, she became their powerful ally and found strength in her relationship with Vision. Marvel Studios: Legends examines Wanda’s story as she struggles to control her chaotic powers, and come to terms with hardships and shifting loyalties from her inner circle.

Vision comes into the world as an artificial life form in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Although not human himself, he chooses to fight on the side of humanity. Marvel Studios: Legends explores Vision’s quest to understand humans, his evolution to become similar to them and his romantic relationship with Wanda Maximoff.
