REVIEW: Heroes Return #1 Delivers the Goods!
In Heroes Return #1 by Jason Aaron, Ed McGuinness, Mark Morales, Matthew Wilson, and Cory Petit, with a main cover by Leinil Francis Yu and Sunny Gho, we get the final chapter in the Heroes Reborn Marvel Comics event. And let me tell you, Marvel Blog True Believers, this issue delivers what you want from a finale!

There are some spoilers to follow, so if you want to avoid to avoid and sneak-peaks at Heroes Return #1 before reading the issue, you’ll want to use a Cosmic Cube to warp away from this page until you’ve had a chance to hit your local comic book shop!
The Final Showdown
For other Amalgam Comics lovers out there (we’re looking at you Marvel Comics’ writer Gail Simone), one of the coolest things about Heroes Return #1 is the way that we get to see our Avengers in battle against each of their respective New-ish 52-ish foils!

For each of the fights between one of the 616-Avengers and the Newish-52ish-Revengers Squadron, it plays out about how you would expect (except maybe the one between Starbrand and Dr. Spectrum), but that doesn’t make them any less satisfying.

The ultimate fate of Coulson is maybe a little less satisfying, if only because his fate seems to be hanging in the balance for a future event… but as far as teases for future events go, the one we get at the end of this issue is top notch. You can bet that I’ll be tuning in for the next chapter in the Pandemonium Cube saga, Marvel Blog True Believers!

More of Certain Characters?
At the end of Heroes Return #1, it seems as though some of the characters from the alternate reality – 616 of them to be exact – have continued to exist even after the Avengers have restored the world as they know it!

It seems likely that we’ll see more of some of these characters, and as far as I’m concerned, that’s good news, especially when it comes to Power Princess!
And of course, I’m crossing my fingers that we someday get to see more Night-Gwen!
