Shang-Chi is #1 in the World for 3 Weeks Straight

In a tweet sent on Monday, September 20th, 2021, the official Marvel Twitter account confirmed that Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the brand-new Marvel Cinematic Universe movie starring Simu Liu as the eponymous master of martial arts and Awkwafina as his BFF Katy, has been the number one movie in the United States for three consecutive weeks!

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

This is just the latest achievement for the newest MCU movie, which is currently available to experience exclusively in theaters.

First, in its initial four days of release, the movie shattered the Labor Day Weekend box office record, which had previously been held by 2007’s Halloween.

And it isn’t just selling tickets at which Shang-Chi excels! The reactions to the movie have been off-the-chart, as well. Consider this, Marvel Blog True Believers: Shang-Chi is currently the highest rated MCU movie on review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes!
