Mysterious Marvel Poster Teases New Look Thor and Other Marvel Heroes
The MCU’s Phase Four is in full swing, as its first year came to a close with some tremendous stories; a mysterious Marvel poster teases a new look Thor and other Marvel heroes that should play huge roles in the conclusion of the phase.
Spider-Man: No Way Home capped off an incredible first year of Marvel’s three-year plan for its Phase Four, and represented the level of excellence for which Marvel has attributed to its latest installments.
With Shang-Chi and Eternals rounding out the three biggest films, it appears as though the MCU has now been celebrated with a leaked piece of art that showcases some of the heroes that should user in the continuation of Phase Four.
The leaked poster was posted on Reddit’s r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers and was first reported by cbr.com; as posted by user Ryantcairns.
The image showcases a Spider-Man’s Iron Spider suit, Shang-Chi, Star-Lord, Wasp sans Ant-Man, Okoye of the Dora Milaje, Teen Groot, Smart Hulk, Ms. Marvel, the previously leaked Jane Foster, and a brand new look for Thor.
Also featured are the faded images of the fallen Tony Stark, and retired Captain America, as well as what looks like the arm of T’Calla’s Black Panther.
As this mysterious Marvel poster teases the new look of Thor and other Marvel heroes, there is a lot to dissect.
The brand new Thor costume looks very similar to what we’ve seen from his updated look in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder, but also features a brand new helmet, and chain mail sleeves; all of which are very reminiscent of the characters look throughout the 1980s.
There is also what looks to be the arm of Black Panther; with the biggest question being if that is indeed T’Challa or the Black Panther that will succeed him.
With Chadwick Boseman’s tragic passing prior to the making of Black Panther Wakanda Forever, Marvel Studios have been clear on their desire to not recast the role; which will leave many uncertain as to whose arm is in the poster.
Presenting a lot of interesting pieces, the poster seems legitimate, but could very well not be. In a world driven by leaks, we can only take anything new with a grain of salt and wait on the confirmation of Marvel Studios to actualize our pondering.
