Captain Carter #3
With X-Men ’92 sporting some fantastic variants featuring the 1990s iteration of the team that seem inspired by Jim Lee’s legendary work on thetitle, and What If…? Miles Morales providing some interesting variants for his second issue, we had to go with the second variant of Captain Carter.
There is something that is so classic about this beautiful variant by Marc Aspinall, with the painting of the woman out of time so perfectly encapsulating her elegance, yet readiness for any threat to arise.

Trade Paperback of the Week
Fantastic Four by Jonathan Hickman Omnibus Vol. 2
There are so many worthy trade paperbacks this week- including Jason Aaron’s work on Doctor Strange and Thor- but we feel obligated to continue to recommend anything Jonathan Hickman; especially the continuation of his Fantastic Four run.
Hickman combines thrilling narrative, creative work building, and a penchant for aesthetic in this continued development of Marvel’s first family, and their subsequent Future Foundation in a ride that is truly a must-read.
