There is no denying the rapid growth that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has taken to this point, becoming one of the biggest entities that the film industry has seen to this point, and growing the presence of some of the biggest comic book characters to ever arrive on the big screen.
The presence in film and on the Disney exclusive streaming platform has led to a whole host of characters begin able to find their footing in a time when the heroes and villains arriving in the MCU install limited to who Marvel could fit into a two-hour film.
Now, there is an endless of potential titles from an even more endless list of heroes and villains set to make their presence known; and with Werewolf by Night introducing the concept of Disney+ special presentations, there is even greater potential.
And it is that format that could catapult the presence of one of Marvel’s most beloved cosmic heroes, as Nova is rumored to be a Disney+ Special Presentation and to introduce the hero in a brand new way.
Although San Diego Comic-Con and D23 saw the announcement of a whole host of Marvel Studios projects, Nova was a heavily rumored one that didn’t get announced; and it may be because the project won’t appear as a series or a film.
It could follow the formula started by the Michale Giacchino-helmed Disney+ project; one that also had very little confirmed until the project was set to release on the streaming platform.
Nova will certainly be a very interesting project for the MCU and it could be the next installment of what should be a very interesting endeavor for the ever-growing Marvel Universe.
