One Fan-Favorite Marvel Character Will NOT Return For Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Before the Marvel multiverse collides in Avengers: Doomsday, Tom Holland’s Peter Parker is getting ready to swing back into action in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Serving as the fourth installment in the MCU’s Spider-Man franchise, Brand New Day follows Peter Parker as he embarks on a new chapter after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home erased the world’s memory of him.

Joining Holland on his latest Spider-Man adventure are Jon Bernthal’s Punisher and Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner/The Hulk.

One fan-favorite Marvel character, however, will not be returning.
J.K. Simmons Will Not Appear in ‘Brand New Day’
During a recent interview with ComicBook, J.K. Simmons debunked rumors that he would reprise his role as J. Jonah Jameson in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

“Not in it, dude. I don’t know who on the internet decided that that was fact, but I ain’t in it,” he said.
The news that Simmons will not appear in Brand New Day will surely disappoint fans, who have come to expect J. Jonah Jameson to pop up throughout the Spider-Man franchise.

One of the most inspired casting choices in superhero movie history, Simmons first portrayed Jameson in 2002’s Spider-Man.
He would eventually reprise the role in the film’s two sequels.

In 2019, Simmons made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Jameson in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
He subsequently returned in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Have We Seen the Last of J. Jonah Jameson?
With so many Marvel stars returning for Brand New Day, it is surprising that Simmons will not be among them.

Hopefully, however, we haven’t seen the last of his J. Jonah Jameson.
