Future Avengers Featured on Marvel Minute and Disney+
Disney+ Features Makoto & Friends in Marvel’s Future Avengers
Although the live-action shows are getting the most attention as Disney+ ramps up its superhero show streaming, today — February 28 — Marvel’s Future Avengers is available on the service.
Meet Makoto & Co.
Marvel.com’s Christine Dinh posted:
The first season of Marvel’s Japanese anime series, Marvel’s Future Avengers, is now available to stream on Disney+!
Marvel’s Future Avengers follows Makoto, a young boy who developed superpowers from a Hydra genetic engineering experiment, and his friends Adi and Chloe as they train under Earth’s Mightiest Heroes as apprentices, dubbing themselves the “Future Avengers.”
Marvel Minute
Marvel.com’s “Marvel Minute” featured the Future Avengers and host extraordinaire Lorraine Cink broke down the new anime-style show:
Thankfully, Marvel.com’s Lorraine and Christine gave us the low-down on the new superhero team and their connection to Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, and Wasp.
“Makoto is a 15-year-old energetic and impulsive kid with aerial-bending skills who adopts the Super Hero moniker Hurricane,” explained Dinh. “His friends Chloe AKA Charade possesses shape-shifting abilities while Adi AKA Codec has technopathic powers.”
Hydra Returns
The group faces off — of course — against Hydra and their former friend Bruno; a 15-year-old cyborg trained alongside Makoto, Chloe, and Adi.
Dinh explained:
Bruno is a 15-year-old cyborg with the ability to manipulate air. Instead of defecting with Makoto, Chloe, and Adi, Bruno stays behind and remains loyal to Hydra as he’s manipulated into joining the Masters of Evil under the code name Twister.
