The official Twitter account for WandaVision on Disney+ is releasing posters advertising the new series in advance of the first episode’s premiere on January 15th, 2021.

As the No. 1 fan of Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), no upcoming Marvel Studios’ mini-series excites me as much as WandaVision. After #2020, it will be nice to see some familiar faces return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
New WandaVision Posters Tease Alternate Reality
Deepening shadows gather splendor
As day is done
Fingers of night will soon surrender
The setting sun
I count the moments darling
‘Till you’re here with me
Together at last at twilight time– The Platters, Twilight Time Lyrics
Two brand new posters for Marvel Studios’ WandaVision have been released, and they tease that not all is what it seems for the unusual newlyweds! And fans (other than just me) are wondering – are the new WandaVision posters teasing details about the highly anticipated series?
First WandaVision Poster Teases 1950s Sitcom Life
The official WandaVision account on Twitter released the first poster on Friday, December 4th, 2020.
The first poster features a 1950s era black and white television projecting an image of the titular couple, Wanda Maximoff and Vision, in their black-and-white sitcom reality. The somewhat familiar imagery is of Vision appearing in a “human” guise, an illusion we previously saw the android perform in Avengers: Infinity War (2018).
In the poster, the vintage television is positioned in a room with 1950s era-appropriate décor – at least aside from a very suspicious-looking psychedelic image behind a panel of wallpaper curling down.
Second WandaVision Poster Teases the 1960s…
…with a vintage rolling TV Cart.
The second poster was tweeted by the official WandaVision account the subsequent day, on Saturday, December 5th, 2020. It features a superficially similar image – except (nearly) everything has undergone an update to make it more appropriate for the 1960s. Also new, a magician’s hat is placed on the corner of the updated (and now mobile) television set!
In the second WandaVision poster, the new image featured on the TV is of the Scarlet Witch and the Vision, but their positions are inverted (and the android has shed his human appearance).
However, while much of the furniture surrounding the TV set has changed, the incongruent psychedelic poster has not – it sort of looks like those 3D magic eye things, come to think of it. And the wallpaper remains slightly curled on the wall to tease that things are not what they seem for the strange suburban couple in their new life.
Twitter Buzz Teases More Posters to Come
People are guessing that this advertising push means more WandaVision posters are coming! And possibly a new trailer at the Disney presentation later this week…
Here is some of the top buzz from around the internet sphere, so my little witchlings, you don’t have to spend your time looking into crystal balls and black cauldrons because this witch did it for you!
ANOTHER poster the very next day?!
👀Some of you are guessing this is a countdown to a new trailer, maybe on Thursday during the 4 hour #Disney streaming presentation?#MCU #Marvel #WandaVision https://t.co/Fk0mmi6MTb

Do you think that magician hat on the new #WandaVision poster could possibly be teasing Glamor and Illusion? 👀🤔🎩 pic.twitter.com/w4AnGwWkK6

The pair of enigmatic WandaVision posters appear to be fraught with coded meaning – but perhaps that meaning will remain impenetrable, at least until more posters are released in the series. Will they be joined by a third poster on Sunday, December 6th, 2020? And is this the last of the inscrutable marketing we’ll see for the upcoming WandaVision? This writer hopes we’ll see more of both very soon!
The six-episode WandaVision mini-series begins streaming on Disney+ on January 15th, 2021.
