WHAT IF…? Posters Tease Undead Antics
In a tweet sent on Monday, September 6th, 2021, the official Marvel Entertainment Twitter account revealed two new posters for this week’s episode of the new Marvel Studios animated series What If…? on Disney+… and it looks like we’re in store for some undead antics on Wednesday, Marvel Blog Undead Believers!

Featuring two of Earth’s Mightiest Avengers (but as they might look if they were zombies), these posters have us extremely excited for the next episode of What If…? on Disney+ and for the future of Marvel Cinematic horror in general.
Marvel Zombies
Zombies? In the Marvel Comics universe? It’s not as far-fetched as you may think!
Vulture-eyed viewers of Spider-Man 2: Far From Home may have noticed that a zombie version of Iron Man has already made a cameo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And, Marvel Blog Undead Believers, it seems like we may finally get our answer to “What If… Spider-Man Fought Zombie Iron Man?”

What role will Zombie Hunter Spider-Man play in the proceedings? We aren’t sure yet, but that looks an awful lot like Dr. Strange’s cape, doesn’t it? This looks pretty grim for the Doctor Strange Sorcerer Supreme! Maybe he just gives Peter the cape before escaping to another dimension? Fingers crossed!

What If…? Zombies
Fun fact: Marvel Blog Undead Believers, these are the second and third What If…? posters featuring undead Marvel characters to be released: in early August, a poster teasing the general concept of Avenger zombies was released.

We have known that we would see a zombie incarnation of Captain America thanks to the merch that has been released for the series; however, this is the first time we have see the full version of an undead Hawkeye!
